Some niceties from the IRC channel that may be desired.

This is all rather new so there might be some things to do. A lot depends on whether this platform actually gets used or if it quickly withers to idleness.

• ✅ Archiving

  BitFolk has an automatically updating archive of everything posted to the group. This will not be made public in raw form for the same reasons that IRC logs never have been: although anyone joining the group can read all past history, there is a privacy expectation that such content won't be vacuumed up by scrapers etc. It may be later used for anonymous stats purposes.

• 🔲 bfplanet RSS/Atom notifier

  This IRC bot is currently used to notify about:

  • Changes to this wiki
  • New items/changes on BitFolk's feature tracker
  • New articles from Planet BitFolk

This might be reasonable for Telegram.

Ruled out

Things very unlikely to happen.

• ❌ AgainstHumanity

  After many many years AgainstHumanity has probably had its day and will not be making an appearance in Telegram.

• ❌ Enoch

  The IRC quote bot doesn't really seem to fit.

Other stuff?

Telegram bots are a thing so BitFolk is open to suggestions.
